Christmas Celebration
SUNDAY 1 December
The final City Care Lunch for 2024 will be a Christmas Celebration held on Sunday 1 December at St Philip's Church with set up from 12pm.
There’s a variety of ways you can help, both in the lead up and on the day. For a full list of needs and to sign up click on the VOLUNTEER Button below.
If you’d like to support City Care Ministries financially you can do so via Square by clicking on the GIVE Button below. We’d also really appreciate your prayers for the day as we seek to show Jesus’ love to some of our most vulnerable neighbours.

Millers Point Community Carols
Sunday 8 December
4pm at The Garrison Church
From 4:00pm on Sunday 8 December the Parish of Church Hill, along with the Millers Point Community, will gather at the Garrison Church to sing in Christmas at our annual combined Carols service. Afterwards, weather permitting, we’ll head up to Observatory Hill for a b.y.o. picnic.
The 8:30am Holy Communion Service at St Philip’s will be the only other service held at Church Hill on Sunday 8 December.

End of Year Men's Dinner
Gentlemen of Church Hill mark your diaries for the END OF YEAR Mens Dinner:
Thursday 21st November: Men’s Dinner in the Garrison Church Hall.
Guest speaker: Simon Miller, the CEO of Anglicare on why the early church matched word and deed. Plus testimonies.

Everybody Loves a Gingerbread House
EVERYBODY LOVES A GINGERBREAD HOUSE
SATURDAY 14 DECEMBER AT THE GARRISON CHURCH
Invite your friends, neighbours and family to come build and decorate a Gingerbread House, hear a short talk, and enjoy some pre-Christmas community.
Session times are 2:00pm and 6:00pm. Gingerbread house kits (house pieces, icing and lollies) are $28.00 each. Gluten free option also available.
All proceeds will be given to Purpose & Growth, who strive to give the most overlooked people in our society a chance at long-term employment sustainability.

Once a year Church Hill gets away for a weekend of peace, restoration and community.
We call it Rivendell.

OT lecturer at SMBC, who’ll be opening up The Psalms with us.
